All our oils should be stored in a cool, dark places to prevent oxidation. To use in a lamp ring, drop a small amount of fragrance oil into the ring and place on a light bulb. Put a few drops on cotton wool then place in your vacuum cleaner it gives out the aroma as you clean.

Fragrance Oil Sets Not sure which fragrance oil scent is right for you? Our Fragrance Oil sets are the perfect way to test out our best-selling fragrance oils. Each Set Includes 5x 10ml Fragrance Oils. All our fragrances are high quality and specifically designed for excellent scent throw, meaning that generally speaking less is more. How much to add is slightly complex and we have developed a guide to give you more details here. Generally though starting with between 5-8% is a good idea and up to 10% for less strong fragrances should give you more than enough scent throw. It is always best to experiment with each scent and wax combination and start low and work up. As long as you follow the guide and observe the flash point you will get beautifully scented candles with a bit of practise. Generally speaking you should never put in more than 12% fragrance as the candle will literally begin to sweat or leach the fragrance. I have always loved the smell of lavender and a must in my garden. But since my interest in Aromatherapy and my understanding of oils, my favourite has been the Lavender oil - I use it instead of perfume - a small dot on either side of my temple; in my bath; and also mixed with other oils for cosmetic purposes. There are a variety of different types of waxes from which candles can be made. These varieties stem from two main sources, natural and mineral, and both comprise of many different qualities and facets. Wholesale candle wax volumes are available with 800g, 5kg, 10kg and 25kg weights available. Different types of wax Natural waxes, such as vegetable wax and soy wax, have a light and creamy colour to them whilst producing a slight plant-like fragrance when burnt. Made from natural oils, such as those from the rapeseed plant and the soya bean, these waxes are a sustainable alternative to more popular paraffin waxes as they are 100% natural in origin. Soy wax is a particularly popular natural wax as its’ scent throw is far stronger than rapeseed waxes and is far less likely to trigger allergies than other forms of wax. Mineral waxes, of which paraffin is the most widely used, are made from petroleum and benefit from a very clean, odourless burn when in its purest state.
